“Paddle Carlyle Lake” Map Released

A new map of 11 designated paddle trails has recently been released by the Army Corps of Engineers. Each location is categorized based on ability: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Among the locations are the West Branch Trail, Coles Creek Branch Trail and the Old River Channel.

CSA Billboard – Advertisers Wanted

The Carlyle Sailing Association will be placing a billboard advertisement on I-64 next month. The billboard is expected to remain at least 3 months and will direct travelers to the website SailIL.com. The website is currently in development and businesses around the Carlyle Lake area may advertise in the form of a small or large banner ad on the website.
